Correction to ALB Nominations

April 14, 2006 -- Last week, ASI reported that the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced the nomination period for directors to the Lamb Promotion, Research and Information Board, more commonly known as the American Lamb Board (ALB). Four positions are up for appointment this year; two producer slots, one feeder position and one first handler.
USDA has clarified since that time that all four board members currently in these positions are eligible for re-nomination; not just two of the four as previously reported.
