January 13, 2006

January 13, 2006 -- Chiappetti Lamb and Veal announced in a press release last week that it has entered into a strategic business partnership with The Infinity Group, operator of one of the nation?s largest intermodal rail facilities and provider of logistics, customer service and equipment repair services to the Intermodal community and beyond. The partnership will escalate the automation of Chiappetti?s Chicago plant into a state-of-the-art facility, enabling the company to keep pace with the ever-increasing demand from retail and foodservice customers for its high-quality fresh American lamb and veal products.

?We are excited about what this partnership means to the future of our family operated business,? says Dennis Chiappetti, president of Chiappetti Lamb and Veal and grandson of the company?s founder. ?The Infinity Group?s strong business sense, financial backing and trailblazing solutions in diverse business environments will increase our ability to grow and to meet the evolving needs of our retail and foodservice customers nationwide.?

?This partnership will allow Chiappetti to focus on the innovative products, personal relationships and customized marketing programs that have earned them an unmatched reputation and made them so successful for more than 60 years,? says Michael J. Taylor, chief executive officer, The Infinity Group. ?Our passion for making a good operation even better matches their passion for delivering the highest quality meats available. We share a vision of increased and superior capabilities for the company, and together we will make it happen.?
