Iowa Festival Canceled

June 13, 2008 - Due to extensive flooding in much of the state as well as at the Dallas County Fairgrounds, the Iowa Sheep and Wool Festival and the Lamb Lovers' Feast have been canceled. These events were scheduled for this weekend, June 14-15, 2008, in Adel, Iowa. It was not possible to arrange an alternative date, so the events will not be held this year. All payments received will be returned.

Please spread the word. The state association wishes to get this information out to anyone who might have been planning to attend the events to minimize travel to a canceled event.
