Logan Re-appointed to AVMA Animal Ag Committee

June 13, 2008 - Jim Logan, DVM, (Wyo.) was re-appointed to serve a second term on the American Veterinary Medical Association's (AVMA) Animal Agriculture Liaison Committee as the American Sheep Industry Association's (ASI) representative. Re-appointed as the ASI alternate was Cindy Wolf, DVM (Minn.).

"ASI appreciates the opportunity to appoint a representative to this committee," stated Burdell Johnson, ASI president. "We certainly appreciate the good working relationship between ASI and the committee through Logan's tenure, and we look forward to ASI's participation in the future."

The committee provides a forum for food animal practitioners, producer groups, federal agencies, academic institutions and AVMA leadership to communicate and discuss issues of concerned with livestock and food production.
