Gould Named RMA Administrator

December 2, 2005 -- Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns announced the appointment of Eldon Gould as administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency (RMA).
"Gould's experience at local, state and national levels of agriculture policy and his personal history of agricultural production make him well qualified to guide the Risk Management Agency into the future," said Johanns.
As RMA administrator, Gould will also serve as the manager of the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation Board in its role as both regulator and reinsurer of the crop insurance industry.
