ASI Awards Program ? Time to Nominate

September 23, 2005 -- It is once again time to recognize those in the sheep industry who have made outstanding contributions. The American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) is asking for nominations of people who deserve to be acknowledged for their positive role within the industry. The awards program allows producers and industry affiliates a chance to nominate individuals they feel have benefited the industry over the past year.
Six award categories are available for nominations: McClure Silver Ram, Camptender, Flock Guardian, Shepherd?s Voice for Print Media, Shepherd?s Voice for Broadcast Media and Environmental Stewardship.

Award nominations must be received at the ASI office before Nov. 30, 2005, to be considered. Winners will be honored during the ASI Annual Convention in Phoenix, Ariz., Jan. 26-28, 2006.
Past award recipients are not eligible for re-nomination.
