More Farm Bill Listening Sessions

   September 2, 1005 -- Today, Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns announced the next series of Farm Bill Forum's to be held in September.
   USDA officials will conduct the following listening sessions: Sept. 6, Blackfoot, Idaho; Sept. 7, Huron, S.D.; Sept. 12, Hutchinson, Kan.; Sept. 14, Salt Lake City, Utah; Sept. 15, Grand Island, Neb.; Sept. 20, London, Ohio; Sept. 22, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Sept. 29, New York City, N.Y.; and Sept. 30, Cheyenne, Wyo.
   "Sheep producers were heard at the session in New Mexico earlier this week," commented Paul Frischknecht, American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) president. "If you are able to attend a session near you, briefing papers on sheep industry priorities for the new Farm Bill are available from the ASI office."
