FSA Nomination Period Extended

July 29, 2005 -- Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns announced this week that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is extending the deadline to nominate eligible candidates to serve on USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committees to Aug. 15, 2005. The nomination deadline was scheduled for Aug. 1, 2005.
