Menu Prices to Rise 6 Percent through 2006

July 15, 2005 -- Menu prices will continue to creep up as the nation?s largest restaurant chains contend with inflation and higher product costs, reported Chicago-based market researcher, Technomic, Inc.
Technomic projects that prices will rise 3.2 percent this year and another 3 percent in 2006, allowing many chains to report sales increase even if traffic slows.
Prices rose 3 percent in 2004.
