Weekly National Market Prices for Wool

     April 22, 2005 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's prices for wool the week beginning April 20, 2005, can be accessed at: ftp://ftp.fsa.usda.gov/public/woolmohr/default.htm.
     Posted prices for ungraded wool (per pound, greasy basis) for the week are: Region 1, $0.24; Region 2, $0.22; and Region 3, $0.20. The LDP rate for ungraded wool, therefore, is $0.18 per pound greasy.
     These rates are used to determine the loan repayment rates for marketing assistance loans and to calculate loan deficiency payments.
