Canadian Importation Protocol Released

On Monday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service?s (APHIS), Veterinary Service agency released its protocol for the importation of slaughter and feeder cattle, bison, sheep and goats from Canada into the United States.
The protocol addresses cattle and bison under 30 months of age and sheep and goats under 12 months of age (it excludes breeding animals).
