More Australian wool is making its way to Chinese mills. Wool topmaker Giovanni Schneider is planning to buy an extra 40,000 bales of superfine Australian wool to feed his new wool mill, Schneider?s JV, in China.
Schneider is setting up a new wool mill in China and expects more companies to move to mainland China to take advantage of that country?s growth in jobs and wool garment production.
The company, which mainly supplies the high-end fashion market in Europe, will buy approximately 40,000 bales for that mill which has already started production.
