Demographics of U.S. Farm Operators Published

The U.S. Department of Agriculture?s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has published an in-depth analysis titled, "What We Know about the Demographics of U.S. Farm Operators."
The paper is one of the first attempts to glean meaning from new statistics collected during the 2002 Census of Agriculture, including the total number of operators on each farm, demographic information for the first three operators and the number of individuals living in each operator household.
