Restaurants May Break Sales Records in ?05

According to Meatingplace.com, restaurant industry sales are expected to reach $476 billion in 900,000 restaurant locations next year, a solid 4.9-percent increase over 2004. Sales at full-service restaurants are expected to grow by 5 percent and sales at limited-service venues by 4.7 percent.
"American consumers will spend almost 47 percent of their food dollar in restaurants," said NRA president and CEO Steven Anderson.
