President Signs Omnibus Bill

December 10, 2004 -- The President on Wednesday signed the $388 billion Omnibus Appropriations Bill, which included funding for agencies in nine of the 13 spending bills for fiscal year 2005. Included in this measure was the appropriation of funds for the Department of Agriculture.
As reported last week, the bill provides nearly $85.3 billion in mandatory agricultural spending for the next fiscal year.
