Plan to attend the 2005 American Sheep Industry (ASI)/National Lamb Feeders (NLFA) Annual Convention being held at John Ascuaga?s Nugget Hotel in Reno, Nev. Convention dates are January 26-29, 2005.

Come be part of a positively historic event as members from seven major U.S.-sheep oriented groups gather under one roof to collectively communicate and get down to business. Participating groups include ASI, NLFA, American Lamb Board, National Sheep Industry Improvement Center (NSIIC), Western Range Association, ASI Women and those involved in the National Make It Yourself With Wool Competition.

A special grantwriting session sponsored by NSIIC, a predator management workshop and a hands-on topmaker-for-a-day activity have been arranged on Thursday for participants to interact with other producers. Registration forms will be available next week as well as incorporated into the December issue of ASI?s monthly tabloid, Sheep Industry News, which will hit mailboxes the first week of that month.
