Bruggers Named Director

September 10, 2004 -- Dr. Richard Bruggers has been named to the position of director for the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) in Fort Collins, Colo. Bruggers has been with NWRC for more than 25 years in various positions of increasing responsibility, acting as assistant director at the center for the last 10 years.

According to Deputy Administrator for Wildlife Services, Bill Clay, Bruggers has demonstrated excellent technical and administrative abilities over the year and he will serve the program well in his new position.

Bruggers begins this appointment on Sept. 19, 2004.
