World Sheep and Wool Congress Update

June 18, 2004 -- The opening ceremony of the World Sheep and Wool Congress (WSWC) in Quebec City, Canada, is just a month away. The Congress runs from Sunday, July 18 through Saturday, July 24, and registrations can still be made by visiting the official Web site of the Congress at: www.worldsheep.com.

The American Sheep Industry Association is a sponsor of the WSWC and will be staffing a booth in the Exhibition Hall. Any breed association or organization interested in supplying materials to be displayed at the booth can contact Judy Malone at 303-771-3500, ext. 35, before July 2 for guidance in this process. Producers interested in working in the booth area during the Congress can also call this number for additional details.

The organizing committee has worked hard to put together an interesting and diverse schedule for the Congress. Participants are sure to enjoy to the Congress events as well as the hospitality of Quebec City.
