NCTO Formed from Blend of ATMI & AYSA

March 19, 2004 -- The leaders of two longstanding associations, American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI) and American Yarn Spinners Association (AYSA), have created a new group, the National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO), after an attempt to merge was stalled. The newly formed group will concentrate its efforts on lobbying for the textile industry.
