White House Serves Lamb

On the evening of May 19th, President Bush held his third state dinner honoring Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Assistant White House Chef Cris Comerford, born in the Philippines and now a U.S. citizen, worked to bring common ground between the two nations as she prepared the menu. The main course, served to 130 guests in the State Dining Room, consisted of lamb, achiote polenta, fava beans and cipollini onion.
