Feb. 20, 2004 -- According to Australian Broadcasting Corp., a working group is being formed to discuss how the outbreak of the debilitating sheep disease ovine Johne?s can be realistically eradicated. Six cases of the disease have been confirmed on farms in Western Australia.
Farmers and the Department of Agriculture have met to discuss the outbreak as well as the impact it will have on Western Australia?s ?disease-free? status.
