2009 ASI Industry Survey
In December 2009, the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) membership was sent a survey as part of an ongoing national effort to assist the newly formed Re-building the Sheep Inventory Committee, which is working to strengthen U.S. sheep production.
This information reflects the results of the completed surveys that were received by the ASI office as of Jan. 11, 2010, which was the deadline. Of the 7,394 surveys that were mailed, 1,640 were entered into the survey program, which is a response rate of 22 percent.
