Boyd Retires From Idaho Wool Growers
June 17, 2016

Stan Boyd, executive director for the Idaho Wool Growers Association for the last 38 years, will be retiring on June 30. He led the Idaho producers through some controversial issues like the elimination of grazing allotments due to the alleged disease transmission from domestic sheep to wild sheep.

According to Boyd, "I have really enjoyed his time with the Idaho Wool Growers. I'll still be knocking around within the sheep business. As general manager for Rocky Mountain, I'll still be buying and marketing lambs."

Brandy Kay has been hired as the new executive director for the Idaho Wool Growers Association and will begin her role on July 5.
