Sheep Responses Needed to Direct Research Projects

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is charged with extending the nation's scientific knowledge with research projects in agriculture, human nutrition, food safety, natural resources and the environment, to name a few. Research projects at ARS are managed within 19 national programs - Animal Health is one of those national programs.

ARS conducts National Program Assessments every five years. Responding to this survey will allow ARS to assess the progress and impact of its animal health research program and will give sheep producers an opportunity to support research on bighorn/domestic sheep interaction, scrapie and other sheep critical studies.
