Shere Becomes USDA Chief Veterinary Officer
April 8, 2016

Jack Shere, DVM, Ph.D., this week was confirmed as the U.S. Department of Agriculture's chief veterinary officer and deputy administrator for Veterinary Service.

Shere replaces John Clifford, DVM, who served as deputy administrator for 12 years and is now the Chief Trade Advisor for VS' National Import Export Services.
