MSU Sheep Extension Specialist Position

Montana State University (MSU), a Land Grant University founded in 1893, posted its opening for a Sheep Extension Specialist. This position became available with the retirement of Rodney Kott, Ph.D., in the fall of 2013.

The opportunity is a full-time, 12-month tenure-track position requiring 77 percent extension teaching, 13 percent research and 10 percent service/outreach. The successful applicant will develop and implement a nationally-recognized extension educational program in sheep and wool production, provide educational leadership to individuals and organizations related to sheep and wool production and management and supervise activities at the MSU wool lab, to name a few duties.
