The American Sheep Industry Association encourages U.S. sheep industry members to join their state sheep association. If you reside in one of the few states that doesn’t have an association, you might consider joining one in a neighboring state. Or, you can join ASI through an individual membership.
To access a listing of state sheep associations and their contacts, click State Sheep Associations . If, for some reason, you are unable to get in touch with your state contact, please call ASI at (303) 771-3500, ext. 0, so that we may be of assistance.
“Every man owes a part of his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged.” So said Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, during his stay in the White House in the early 1900s. How timeless those words seem today, a time when many organizations still fail due to lack of funding and member involvement. The American Sheep Industry Association’s ensures its strong standing by serving the needs of its grassroots membership of 9,000, the majority of whom became ASI members by joining their state sheep association. And that’s the perfect scenario, because participation by its members at the grassroots level ensures that ASI remains powered by producers … for producers. For this reason, the American Sheep Industry Association encourages U.S. sheep industry members to join their state sheep association."
